What is the floor type ratio between Carpet and Hard floors at each location? - There is only VCT (except the bathroom and janitors closet which is porcelain/ceramic tiles) flooring at the following CBOC s - Poughkeepsie, Port Jervis, Goshen, Pine Plains, Monticello and Carmel. New City has two carpeted areas which is the two (2) conference rooms. Under the contractor furnished items; it only lists 6 equipment items for floor care. Will the government provide other equipment for areas other than floors? or is the contractor required to provide all other equipment not listed in the requirement section? (e.g.: Duster, squeegee, dust mop, vacuum cleaner, etc.) Contractor is responsible for all equipment; VA supplies the chemicals. What is the current staffing level at each location? One/Two at each Clinic. At which location is the contractor employee required to obtain a PIV badge? Either Campus can do them as long as we make an appointment. Regarding location Carmel VA Clinic, it is shown that the floor area is 4,304 sf in the PWS but shows 6022.25 sf in the floor plan. Is the contractor responsible for shaded areas only? Could you clarify the applicable floor area under the PWS. -  The shaded are not part of the CBOC.

The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice required by FAR 5.2- Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of the Request for Quote (RFQ) at a later date.
