NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to include four (4) option years, to Boston Scientific Corporation, 1 Boston Scientific Place, Natick, MA 01760 for a requirement including a PI AngioJet EssentialCare service agreement for two (2) AngioJet Ultra systems, [SN - U6924, SN - U6930], located at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. NAICS code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the classification code is J065 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies with a small business size standard of $22 million. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any business that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
