Pre-Solicitation Notice Project No. 528A8-20-812 Repair Domestic Water lines and Valves Stratton VA Medical Center THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT AUGUST 22, 2022 FOR THE REPLACE DOMESTIC WATER LINES AND VALVES PROJECT. Brief Project Description The Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located at 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York was constructed in the late 1940 s. The main domestic hot and cold-water feed piping and valves in the subbasement of the hospital (Building 1) are original construction and need to be replaced. The intent of this project is to install new domestic water lines and shutoff valves while the old domestic water system remains operational. The project also includes the replacement of existing subbasement sump pump assemblies along with some new installations. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $16.5 Million. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the solicitation.
