PROJECT NO. 528A6-20-636 Demolish Quarters & B93 VAMC BATH, NY 03/1/2020 Scope of Work DEMOLISH QUARTERS & B93 528A6-20-636 Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to demolish Buildings 50, 51, 52, 53, & 93 which is approximately 13,150 square feet. Unless otherwise directed by the COR, work shall be performed in accordance with construction drawings and specifications and other standards and regulations as detailed or specified. The General Contractor shall be responsible for: Demolition & removal of the existing structures which includes removal of the existing concrete foundations to 18 below the existing grade along with all associated utilities to listed buildings. The work shall also include site restoration & landscaping. This contract shall include other items as shown on the contract drawings and specifications. Construction shall be completed 180 days from notice to proceed.

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors that the Bath NY VA Medical Center will be posting a solicitation (36C24222B0070) on or about September 15, 2022, to demolish buildings 50, 51, 52, 53, & 93 which is approximately 13,150 square feet. And the removal of the existing structures which includes removal of the existing concrete foundations to 18 below the existing grade along with all associated utilities to listed buildings. The work shall also include site restoration & landscaping. This contract shall include other items as shown on the contract drawings and specifications. All work to be perform at the Buffalo, NY VA Medical Center. Construction shall be completed 180 days from notice to proceed. It has been determined that there are enough qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Own Small Business (SDVOSB) firms that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 236220, " Commercial and Institutional Building Construction", with a size standard of $39.5M. Therefore, this procurement is 100% set-aside for a SDVOSB. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid bonding will be required to respond to this IFB once released. It is anticipated this contract will be awarded o/a October 20, 2022. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL Solicitation materials consisting of the information for bid details, specifications, drawings, and contract forms will be available on http://www.sam.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about September 15, 2022. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.sam.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. No other notification of amendments will be provided.
