This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24222B0063 - Project Roads Repair at Northport VA Medical Center 79 Middleville Rd., Northport NY 11768. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $39.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Scope of Work: The scope of this project is to repair certain sections of the asphalt road at the Northport VAMC. The scoped area includes the road entering the front gate of the Northport VAMC to the first intersection on Middleville Road which is front of Building 17 and the demolished buildings of 1 and 2, the Y intersection (Liberty Lane) to Veterans Memorial Drive, and from parking Lot D to Driveway D. The estimated square footage of the pavement is roughly 110,000 sq ft. Work is to include all labor and material for the removal of the top 3 layer of the asphalt road, trucking and disposal, and installation of 3 asphalt per the asphalt specifications. Work is also to include the striping of the roads including the striping of the cross sections of roads. This construction is considered a mill and fill of the existing roadway at the Northport VAMC. All work is to be performed in according to the provided SOW and any other provided documents. Project Completion: Thirty Calendar Days from the Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) date. All other details and information, including drawings, specification, and statement of work shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about July 29, 2022. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
