Question: After talking with mechanical contractors for the Buffalo Emergency department X-Ray Site prep project and the RFI ID 007 response that has us shutdown, removed and reinstalling the AC unit. They would be able to provide a better quote on this if they had more information on the unit like dimensions, product details, connection points and where shutoff valves are located. Answer: The unit is a STULZ CyberONE series, model number COS-024-W-AWS-U, installed in 2010 by R.P. Mechanical. The weight is approximately 400lbs. Dimensions are 74 H x 31 W x 31 D. There was not a LOTO procedure on record, so a visual investigation has only electrical and potable cold-water supplies. The whole rooms electrical will be shut off and verified prior to electrical work and seems to be directly wired by conduit above ceiling tiles. The water supply has a shut-off valve and could not confirm a backflow preventor. The 2 drain lines are fully soldered ½ copper from the unit above the ceiling to the floor drain. *****END*****

The general scope of this project to replace nuclear medical equipment used in the emergency department at the Buffalo VAMC in accordance with the construction documents.
