Page 2 of 2 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 23, 2022 FOR THE REPLACE OR CHILLERS PROJECT. The Stratton VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York was constructed in the late 1940 s. Two air cooled chillers are currently used to provide backup cooling for critical AHUs at the Albany VAMC including OR, PACU, and ICU. The goal of the project is to improve the reliability of this backup chilled water system by replacing these chillers and making related modifications to the piping and control systems. In addition, the chilled water coils in OR AHU-1 will be replaced to provide improved dehumidification capability. More detailed information can be found in the accompanying plans and specifications. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 Million. The magnitude of construction per VAAR Part 836.204 is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.
