Page 2 of 2 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT NOVEMBER 2, 2021 FOR THE CORRECT PARALLELING SWITCHGEAR DEFICIENCIES PROJECT. The Paralleling Switchgear at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY was constructed approximately a decade ago. The switchgear provides emergency, generator power to the station s Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS s). Over time, additional ATS s have been added to the infrastructure and were not added to the Load Shed Priority. Also, the current Load Shed Priority is outdated and requires revision. The scope of this project is to correct the deficiencies of the Paralleling Switchgear, to make it compliant with the VA s Electrical Design Manual and replace antiquated equipment within the Paralleling Gear. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 Million. The magnitude of construction per FAR part 36 is between $250,000 and $500,000.
