This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Albany Stratton Medical Center, Albany, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about February 24, 2021. The employee parking lot is approximately 5.6 acres and is divided into two sections with a total capacity of approximately 800 vehicles. Access is through three gated points with one other access point that is generally used for maintenance activities. The primary reason for the project is that there is a low spot in the parking area that is subject to persistent flooding, which has resulted in damaged vehicles. The flooding has been exacerbated by an ineffective drainage system within the parking lot as well as the City of Albany s combined sewer, which bisects the parking lot, being undersized and unable to remove rainwater during high intensity events. All located at the Albany VA Medical Center., Project No. 528A8-16-807.This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses . The NAICS code is 236220.
