This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Albany Stratton Medical Center, Albany, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about January 6, 2021, the scope of the project is to replace the cooling towers located on the roof during the off season. A semi-detached chiller plant was added in 1988 to provide a centralized source of chilled water for the hospital. Numerous modifications have been made to the chiller plant over the years but Cooling Towers 1 and 2 (nominal 700 tons each) are original and have numerous deficiencies that will be addressed by replacement of the towers and related equipment. All located at the Albany VA Medical Center., Project No. 528A8-19-807. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses . The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 M. VAAR 836.204| Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The VA will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 1/6/2021 via Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov/.
