The Department of Veterans Affairs and VA Medical Centers, Northport, NY intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Name of Contractor: ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS Street Address: 1195 HAGUE RD City, State, Zip: INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46250 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract for the Repair and Preventative Maintenance Services ROCHE equipment inside of the facility. Market research has concluded that Roche Diagnostics can perform repair and preventative maintenance of their equipment. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. All capability statements must be received by no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on September 12, 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
