VHA Reginal Procurement Office (RPO) 2 is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Chilled water coils. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 333415. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. Please review the attached Statement of Work attached herein. STATEMENT OF WORK A. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Title of Project: Fabrication and delivery of four (4) Chilled Water Coils for Air Handler Unit (AHU) No. s 1 and 4 located in Building 200N at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport NY 11768. 2. Scope of Work: Procurement of two (2) chilled water coils with the following specifications: Type W Tube Size and circuitry: 12Z Dims: 32.5X113 Rows: 6 FPI: 10-R or L Coil: R Copper tube 0.5000 x 0.0160 Aluminum Fin 0.0060 Galvanized casing 16-gauge Estimated weight 578 lbs. each Procurement of two (2) chilled water coils with the following specifications: Type W Tube Size and circuitry: 12Z Dims: 30X113 Rows: 6 FPI: 10-R or L Coil: R Copper tube 0.5000 x 0.0160 Aluminum Fin 0.0060 Galvanized casing 16-gauge Estimated weight 540 lbs. each 3. Background: AHU No. s 1 and 4 provide service to Building 200N. The existing chilled water coils, located in AHU No. 1 and 4, are worn, leaking and are irreparable. The existing coils are required to be replaced so that AHU No. s 1 and 4 can continue to operate properly. 4. Performance Period: 2 days from date of award 5. Place of Performance: Northport VAMC, 79 Middleville Road, Northport NY 11768 6. Type of Contract: Firm fixed price. B. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL SECURITY REQUIREMENTS 1. The contractor shall not have access to the Department of Veterans Affairs computer systems. The certification and accreditation (C&A) requirements do not apply and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
