The Department of Veterans Affairs and VA Medical Centers, Syracuse NY intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research has concluded that LOGIQ P9 R3 are the only units that meet the requirements of Syracuse VAMC by providing compatibility with the existing LOGIQ P9 R3 units. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
