The Department of Veterans Affairs and VA Medical Centers, East Orange, NJ intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Name of Contractor: Baxter Healthcare Corporation Street Address: One Baxter Parkway, DF6-5W City, State, Zip: Deerfield, Illinois 60015 The objective of this sole source award is for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the procurement of Baxter brand PrisMax V2, TherMax and PrisMax V2 Warmer Arm Kit to deliver Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Market research has concluded that PrisMax and TheraMax products are the only hemodialysis equipment to meet the requirements of New Jersey VAMC. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. All capability statements must be received by no later than 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on August 18, 2021.
