The Government intends to procure a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for supply and installation of floor coverings on an as-needed basis to replace worn or hazardous floor coverings and to rejuvenate the appearance of the medical center at Northport VA Medical Center located at 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, proof of applicable certification. DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing to Delfo.Saco-mizhquiri@va.gov and received not later than August 27, 2021, 4:00pm EST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. SCOPE OF WORK: A complete Statement of Work will be released with a solicitation when the Medical Center makes a determination to procure this requirement. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform removal, disposal, and installation of Government/Contractor-Furnished flooring as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW). PRODUCTS: This contract will include installation of the following flooring types, related accessories, and any preparatory work as required. Unless otherwise noted, specific product requirements (size, pattern, color, performance, basis of design, etc.) will be provided in each task order SOW. Carpet: Broadloom/Modular/Modular Walk-off/Bleach Resistant Modular Cove Base and Edge Strip Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring Ceramic Tile Grout tile Rubber Tile Polished Concrete Rubber Stair Tread, Tread-Riser, and Nosing Epoxy Floor Covering Transition Strips and Other Moldings Homogenous Sheet Goods DISCLAIMER: This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
