NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Cogeneration Contractors, Inc., 175 CITY ISLAND AVENUE, BRONX, NY 10464 for a service maintenance agreement for eight (8) Capstone C65 GC ICHP microturbines and gas packs at the Syracuse VA Medical Center at 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210-2716 to include four option years. The service agreement includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the turbines as well as a scheduled 48,000 hour overhaul. All work shall be performed by technicians certified by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) NAICS Code is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance) with a Small Business Size Standard of $8 million. The classification code is J065 Maint/repair/rebuild Of Equipment- Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 31, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Michael Spivack@va.gov .
