This announcement constitutes a sources sought/ request for information only; quotes are not being requested at this time; a written solicitation document will be issued at a later date. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333249 Other industrial machinery manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500. The FSC/PSC is 3695 Miscellaneous Special Industry Machinery. The Bath VAMC and Canandaigua VAMCs have a requirement for Robotic Prescription dispensing system brand name or equal to Scriptpro MP400. Specification must meet or exceed listed below under SOW. Contract Title. Robotic Prescription dispensing System - Automated Medication Pouch Packaging Systems (Brand name or equal to Scriptpro MP400) 2. Background. The Bath and Canandaigua VAMC Inpatient VA Pharmacy require the purchase of two Automated Medication Pouch Packaging/unit dose Systems. One for each of their Inpatient VA Pharmacy. Current units require service calls for repairs at least monthly and both are near life expectancy. Additionally, seeking safety enhancements with add on Pill/pouch verification technology that verifies proper contents packaged within the pouch. 3. Scope. The purchase of the fully Automated Medication Pouch/Unit dose Packaging System Purchase of Medication Detection/Verification system and server if needed Medication Packaging and inspection Server Medication Imaging/camera Station if needed and selected Tray Management Station and associated items if applicable Post packaging winders or similar organization/storage systems Barcode/Label Printer Medication Packaging Control Center, software, and interface as applicable to the unit. 5. Specific Tasks Produces easy to read and use bar coded dose specific pouches for patients Use of standard 120V power Capacity for at least 320 but no more than 500 different medications. Ability to package medications not included in bulk cassette/canister or similar solution Fast, accurate packaging speed Supports single- and multi-solid dose packaging Touchscreen system management Require barcode label printing technology Footprint of main packaging unit up to ~50 Wide by 41 deep. Can be placed against a wall. Prefer compact footprints for main packager and any add on verification systems. Prefer dose verification system for enhanced accuracy of fills, but not mandatory Ability to interface with VHA VISTA system for transfer of needed medication/patient information 6. Security.
