The Department of Veterans Affairs and VA Medical Centers, East Orange, NJ intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Name of Contractor: Omnicell Inc Street Address: 1201 Charleston Rd City, State, Zip: Mountain View CA 94043-1337 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of an Omnicell XT medstation cabinets, drawers and software. Market research has concluded that Omnicell XT cabinets and drawers are the only units that meet the requirements of New Jersey VAMC by providing compatibility with the existing Omnicell server and units. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. All capability statements must be received by no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on June 21, 2021.
