Mods and Extensions can always be executed. Only 8 months are required, period of performance will begin upon award of the contract. Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI come with either 8 channel or 18 channel coils. Your requirements call for 16 channel coils which do not exist for Siemens Espree MRI system. GE MRIs have 16 channel coils. So, do you want 8 channel or 18 channel coils? 18 channels You are requesting applications training up to 40 hours. Could you give us a firm number of applications training as it is rather expensive? 5 days X 8 hours = 40 hours needed There are more than one (1) hard drive that must be removed from the MRI at the end of the services and they have a charge for each hard drive and labor to remove and install. This can become a large expense that must be added to our bid. Please change your solicitation to reflect hard drives. It is hard drives; proposal shall reflect the accurate quantity. As a SDVOSB we do not utilize the OEM (Siemens) to provide maintenance services. We utilize our own personnel and personnel from other providers. All engineers that work on the system will have previous years of experience working on Siemens Espree MRI systems and we can document that experience. Is this acceptable? This is acceptable. Please provide a list of names and their experience/certs from Siemens for the Espree. Acceptable power requirement for the MRI are 480 volts 3 phase not 460 volts as stated. 480 is correct.
