Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing MRI Mobile Equipment Rental for VA Hudson Valley Health Care System: Castle Point VA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, supplies, equipment, supervision and/or transportation necessary to accomplish the services. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 532490. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email) and must be received no later than May 26, 2021 at 4:30pm. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic category. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 532490. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. See additional information below: Objective: The VA Hudson Valley Health Care System is seeking a vendor owned portable MRI scanner in a trailer not to exceed 48 in length including transportation to and from the location and PACS connectivity/hook up. Scope: The Contractor shall provide one (1) each mobile shielded short bore 1 Mobile Siemens Magnetom Espree 1.5T MRI System Scanner. The Contractor shall provide these services which are periodic in nature and are required to maintain the equipment in such condition that it may be operated in accordance with its intended design and functional capacity with minimal incidence of malfunction or operative conditions The Contractor shall ensure that the system has current PMs performed by the OEM and is meeting the manufacturer s specifications including appropriate cryogen levels. The Contractor shall furnish documentation, including all measurement and calibration data to certify that the system is performing in accordance with the performance specifications. Contractor shall provide up to 40 hours of onsite training of the current MRI technologists and continued phone support for applications for the duration of the contract. After the use of the system, the Vendor will remove the hard drive and surrender it to biomed personnel for disposal. Estimated Period of Performance: Date of award, length of this rental is not to exceed more than 8 months (with possible extension). Place of Performance: The mobile unit shall be delivered to VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, Castle Point Campus. Located at 41 Castle Point Rd. Wappinger Falls, NY 12590.
