The Department of Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Healthcare System intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ScriptPro 5828 Reeds Rd Shawnee Mission, KS 66202 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract with a base year to acquire and upgrade existing ScriptPro Robotic Prescription Dispensing Systems. The ScriptPro SP200 is a robotic prescription filling system that is only available from one company. ScriptPro systems have been in place at the James J Howard and Lyons campuses for over 10 years and require upgrades that only ScriptPro can do. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
