The Department of Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Healthcare System intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Nexus, LLC 745 Atlantic Ave, 8th Floor Boston, MA 02111 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract with a base year and four (4) year options to acquire NanoLive 3D Cell Explorer Automated (CXA). The NanoLive 3D CXA is a long-term, label-free, multi-well, live-cell imaging system for neurons and glia in vitro. The NanoLive CXA system is specific to one exclusive distributor, Nexus LLC, Inc. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government.
