Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing LIFE SAFETY MOD 10C SARRTP for the Stratton VA Healthcare System, Albany, NY. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to install strobes and smoke detectors in 6 rooms. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561621. Stratton VA Medical Center Albany, New York Statement of Work LIFE SAFETY MOD 10C SARRTP General Scope of Work: Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Avenue, Albany NY 12208 is requesting a contract to provide all labor and materials to install strobes and smoke detectors in 6 rooms on 10C. With COVID restrictions we require additional bedrooms to meet the need of the unit. These devices are required in all sleeping areas. Work includes: Fire Alarm System Equipment Additions 6 Addressable Smoke Detectors w/ Sounder Bases 6 Wall Mount Strobes Fire Alarm Device Wire A/V Device Wire Required Device Back Boxes Required Fasteners 1 NAC Booster Panel w/ Control Module Labor for Programming and Testing Fire Alarm System Installation of Equipment Additions Labor for Installation of: 6 Smoke Detectors w/ Sounder Bases 6 Wall Mount Strobes 1 NAC Booster Panel w/ Control Module The following is required for this contract: All work to be done by a certified Notifier technician. All work will be in accordance with: NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. NFPA 70: National Electrical Code Articles 517, 645 & 800. NFPA 77: Recommended Practice on Static Electricity. NFPA 99: Healthcare Facilities. NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. Period of Performance 1.
