This solicitation is a SOURCES SOUGHT only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. This request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this solicitation will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated for this effort. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing a Board-Certified Medical Physicist to perform diagnostic medical physics testing and temporary on-site radiation safety officer services at the Albany VAMC. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, software and personnel in the performance of this requirement. Responses to this sources sought must include the following information. 1. General information of your company name, address, contact person name, phone number, fax number, email address(s) and DUNS number and company website if available. 2. Type of business such as 8(a), Small Business, Hub Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business. 3. A written response providing clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the ability to fill this requirement. 4. Past experience providing similar requirements. Responses to this market survey should be in writing, no more than 3 pages long, and be e-mailed to the attention of Jeanette Crooks, Contract Specialist at Jeanette.Crooks@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM EST on February 1, 2021.
