Pre-Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Cheektowaga, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide for the Lease of two (2) Monochloramine Generators under a firm-fixed price contract. One (1) for each of the following sites: Bath VA Medical Center 76 Veterans Avenue Bath, NY 14810-0810 Canandaigua VA Medical Center 400 Fort Hill Avenue Canandaigua, NY 14424-1159 The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about February 1, 2021 to be posted to www.Beta.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. Perspective offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quotes. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 561210 Facilities (except computer operation) Support Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5 Million. The classification code is W046. The solicitation will be issued as a Small Business set aside. Period of Performance: March 1, 2021 February 28, 2022 with a provision of four (4) option years. Description: Vendor shall provide a Lease of two (2) Monochloramine Generator Systems for Secondary Water Disinfection, to include installation, provide consumable/chemistry and service maintenance of the equipment for the locations stated above. Vendor shall be required to provide a statement of their timeline commitment to change-out units (if necessary) and their secondary disinfection during the aforementioned time period at quote submittal. All responsible Small Businesses under the identified NAICS may submit quotes to be considered by the Agency.
