The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for interests vendors capable of providing Window Cleaning at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn, St. Albans and Manhattan campuses and at the James J. Peters VA Medical, Bronx campus. For the NYC sites, the contractor shall clean approximately 25,650 exterior/interior windows 90 days after start date and for the Bronx campus, the contractor shall clean approximately 941 non-operable windows. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish complete window washing services. The exterior windows and sills shall be washed thoroughly in accordance with good commercial practices. The exterior windows and storm windows shall be washed thoroughly, in accordance with good commercial practices. The windows are to be left translucent and free from hard water stains, calcium build-up, dirt, streaks, tar, gum, and paint, water proofing compound, soil, weathering, and other substances. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561720Â (Janitorial Services) and the standard size is $19.5 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is S201 (Housekeeping- Custodial Janitorial).
