Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for vendors capable of providing Water Treatment of HVAC and Potable at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx campus. The water treatment service contract will include but not limited to combinations of physical methods, chemical methods, equipment servicing and testing to control water- related problems such as corrosion, scaling, general deposits, and microbiological fouling of the HVAC and potable water systems. All work shall comply with the requirements described in the following, as a minimum: NSF Standards (National Sanitation Foundation) AWWA Standards (American Water Works Association) ANSI Standards MSDS Regulations ASTM D NFPA Codes UL Standards IEEE Standards NEMA Standards OSHA Standards The intent of this service contract is to preserve the current piping, HVAC equipment, potable water systems, sprinkler piping/equipment, reduce operating costs and establish a cost effective water treatment program to control water related problems such as corrosion, scaling, general deposits, and microbiological fouling. The Contractor to provide site assessment and survey services, project management, professional water treatment services, water treatment logistics and material procurement services, preventive maintenance and testing services, cost estimating and scheduling services, and general support services for this water treatment maintenance contract. See attached Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 221310Â (Water Supply and Irrigation Systems) and the standard size is $30 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is H946 (Other Quality Control, Testing, and Inspection- Water Purification and Sewage Treatment Equipment). All responses to this notice MUST be submitting in writing and emailed to charnell.cunningham@va.gov and must be received not later than October 30, 2020 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities (resumes), DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 221310. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
