Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. This Sources Sought is for the Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210 who has a requirement for annual testing of their Medical Gas System and maintenance training for VA employees for one base year. A site visit may be included in the official solicitation. All parts, labor, and materials shall be included in the purchase order in order to perform the required services. The NAICS Code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business size standard of $22 million. Contractor shall be authorized and/or trained on the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) including Chemetron, Tri-Tech, Amico, Beacon Madaes, Ohio Medical, and Stryker. Contractor shall adhere to OEM guidelines and standards set forth in NFPA 99, 2012 edition, NFPA 55, 2010 edition, and as recommended in the ASSE 6000 Professional Qualifications Standard for Medical Gas Systems.
