Network Contracting Office 2, Department of Veterans Affairs, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Vanderbilt University Medical Center for animal research and development of Biomechanical and mineral/matrix composition analysis services. Approval has been granted to the Bronx VAMC to conduct studies regarding spinal cord injuries using the analysis methods identified above. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with 41 USC 3304(a)(3) and FAR 6.302-3. This notice of intent is not for competitive quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 541715, Research & Development in the physical, engineering, and life science.
