Network Contracting Office 2, Department of Veterans Affairs, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with University of Alabama for animal research and development of histology and histomorphometry analysis services. Approval has been granted to the Bronx VAMC to conduct studies regarding spinal cord injuries using the analysis methods identified above. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with 41 USC 3304(a)(3) and FAR 6.302-3. This notice of intent is not for competitive quotes. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. Responses should be sent to Kathleen Sciortino at kathleen.sciortino@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
