This sources sought notice is for the purpose of seeking information about capabilities of prospective Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and Small Business contractors to provide armored car services for VISN 2 Upstate NY medical centers. The services to be provided are for all personnel, supervision, transportation, labor and other items and services necessary to perform the driving, pick-up and delivery of cash and other monetary documents. The performance period shall be for a base period plus four (4) option periods. Services are needed to commence October 1, 2020, and the procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 561613 Armored Car Services, and the size standard is $22 million. The solicitation package can be viewed or downloaded, at no charge, from the link http://www.beta.SAM.gov when published. This solicitation package shall be available on or about July 31, 2020. Response to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists to set aside the procurement for Service Disabled Veteran Operated Small Business, Small Veteran Owned Business, or Small Business.
