Pre-Solicitation Notice Project No. 528A7-20-751 Emergency Department Isolation Fans Syracuse VAMC THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE SYRACUSE VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 800 IRVING AVE SYRACUSE, NY 13210 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT JULY 28, 2021 FOR THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ISOLATION FANS PROJECT. This project involves replacing three existing dedicated exhaust fan-filter units on the emergency department roof and repairing affected roof area as required. The existing fans each serve a unique area: EF-80 serves BG42 Waiting Room; EF-81 serves BG 45 Isolation Room; EF-82 serves BG 78 isolation room. All three exhaust fans have integral filter boxes, which along with the fan assembly is mounted on a single frame. The fans are approximately 18 years; the new units will have redundant fans and high efficiency filtration to align with the most current VA directives and support the Emergency Department s pandemic response postures. The existing built-up roofing system is approximately 18 years old, includes an insulation system. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 million. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid.
