This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that The VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Rome, NY has a need to renovate the existing 2ND floor for Primary Care following VA Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) guidelines. The existing 2ND floor renovation area has been abandoned since the VA obtained the former Griffiss Air Force Base Hospital building in the 1990s. This project will include abatement of all known and unforeseen asbestos containing materials as well as removal and disposal of all other hazardous materials, in addition to demolition of the existing walls, electrical, lighting, ceiling, floor tile, mechanical equipment, HVAC ductwork and piping, plumbing, etc. for approximately 25,000 gsf of existing space in order to construct a new Primary Care clinic following PACT guidelines to improve patient privacy and to provide patient aligned care and accessibility. The new clinic space will house exam rooms for Primary Care, Women s Health and Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) in addition to procedure room suites and all other required healthcare/administrative support areas including staff lounge, locker area, specialty staff offices, clean utility rooms, soiled utility rooms, equipment storage rooms, supply rooms and a medical storage room. The medical staff space includes large team areas, work rooms with cubicles and small breakout conference rooms. Public shared rooms include waiting rooms, group (conference) rooms, public toilet rooms, volunteer greeter area, and patient checkout area. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 M. VAAR 836.204| Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
