This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Western New York Healthcare System Buffalo, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about 6-11-2021 The Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Ave, NY 14215. The VA Medical Center campus has two water supply utility lines and it is believed one is leaking. Initial investigation has determined the leak is most likely in the north water main supply line between the meter in Building 22 and the Medical Research Building 20, but further investigation will be required to confirm the leak s actual location. Currently the Medical Research Building 20 water supply is solely from the north water main. The purpose of this effort is to create a redundant, controlled water supply for Building 20 by adding valves and taps in the north and south water main lines; investigate the north water main to locate the leak; and repair the identified leak. The Buffalo VAMC requires a Contractor to perform construction work necessary to accomplish this goal. Project No. 528-21-121. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses . The NAICS code is 237110. The small business standard is $39.5M. The cost range is $500,000-$1,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
