This project is for the MRI Site Prep in building 16 at the Hudson Valley Healthcare System Castle Point VAMC, 41 Castle Point Road, Wappingers Falls, New York 12590. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision to prepare the MRI site in building 16 in accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings attached hereto. COMPLETION TIME: 240 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed date. Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and schedule work and shall be expected to plan work typically during duty hours of 8 AM to 4:30 PM eastern time except as noted in the general conditions and as approved by the CO. Work shall comply with VA Specifications and regulations, all applicable Federal, State and Local codes, including specific regulations related to working at the VA Castle Point Campus. This is a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business set aside procurement and will be conducted in accordance with Public Law 109-461. This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24221B0024, Project Number 620A4-18-217 MRI Site Prep in Building 16, at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Castle Point Campus, 41 Castle Point Road, Wappingers Falls, New York 12590. This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $39.5 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00 Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the site preparation of the MRI replacement at the Castle Point Campus of the Hudson Valley Health Care System. The contractor shall adhere to all accompanying drawings, specifications, and any local and federal codes, regulations, and procedures that apply. Work shall include, but not be limited to, completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Building 16 MRI Replacement as required by drawings and specifications. ITEM I, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, Re-roofing, Fall Protection: Work includes general construction, staging construction area, roofing alterations, walls and other general construction activities for a complete and operable structure. ITEM II, Electrical Work: New Split-Systems and Lighting Fixtures: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project including but not limited to general lighting and power, equipment power and fire alarm system alterations. Install all wire & cabling, make all connections, terminations, and patch panel connections to all it/phone and control systems to allow a complete commissioning of systems installed or interfacing with this project s equipment and/or process. Coordinate with VA its department prior to install. ITEM III, Mechanical Work: New Split-Systems and New Energy Recovery Ventilator: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required mechanical construction work on this project including but not limited new split-systems, new ERV, new split-system controls, ductwork, fire sprinkler system alterations and general demolition. Project Completion: 360 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.beta.sam.gov.
