This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about February 15, 2021 to replace the electric panels in Building B36 and B37 at the Canandaigua VAMC. Project No. 528A5-21-506. Current electric panels are out of date and breakers are no longer available, scope includes upgrading the feeders, panelboards, breakers and covers. Building 36 is currently vacant on the first and second floors with mixed use business occupancy on the ground floor. Building 37 is currently occupied on all floors. All federal, state, and local building and safety codes MUST be followed. All work is to be completed in the phases as shown on the plan documents unless otherwise directed by the facility/COR. The NAICS code is 238210 . The small business standard is $16.5 M. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
