Pre-Solicitation Asbestos Abatement 528A8-19-803 Abate Flooring-3 Core and 3A Stem, Albany VAMC This Pre-Solicitation Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes; is not an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The Government may retain and use any information received from this Pre-Solicitation Notice to determine the best acquisition strategy for future procurement. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. The submission of any information in response to this pre-solicitation is purely voluntary. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submission. Interested parties may submit the following at their own discretion. Company name and contact information to include phone number and email. Contractor capability statement (i.e. brief information about related work experience). DUNS number and CAGE code. Business type based upon (i.e. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business). When a solicitation is issued, it will be posted on the https://beta.sam.gov website. It s the sole responsibility of the interested party to keep abreast and to monitor https://beta.sam.gov for future procurement opportunities. Responders are advised that responses to this Pre-Solicitation Notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Not responding to this Pre-Solicitation Notice will not preclude participation in any future IFB, when one is issued. Project Description: The Stratton VAMC in Albany, NY is seeking a potential qualified Contractor to perform asbestos abatement work, which includes, but not limited to demolition and restoration of floor and asbestos abatement in accordance with specified Statement of Work (SOW). Place of Performance: All work is to be done at the Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave, Albany, NY 12208. Contract Type: The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract for this project. Business Type: This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). NAICS & Size Standard: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 size standard of $39.5 million. Construction Magnitude: The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000; IAW FAR 36.204(c). The Government intend to post an actual solicitation within the next 30 days. Solicitation materials consisting of the Information for Bid Details, SOW, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on https://beta.sam.gov in electronic format only. Information regarding the scheduled site visit and bid bond requirement will be stated in the forthcoming solicitation. Any party claiming SDVOSB preference during the solicitation phase shall have an active and verified https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ registration and certificate.
