This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors that the Network Contracting Office, VISN 2 will be posting a solicitation (36C24221B0008) on or about December 11, 2021 to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace existing domestic water piping, abate piping that has asbestos containing material and remove dead legs at the Batavia, NY VA Medical Center. Market research has shown that there are enough qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 236220, "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction", with a size standard of $39.5M to procure this as a 100% set-aside as such. The estimated construction value of this is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid bonding will be required to respond to this IFB once released.
