Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to B J Muirhead Co., INC. for a custom fabrication and installation of a test panel and to re-certify four (4) Cleaver-Brooks boiler control systems at the Batavia VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 within 90 days of initial award date. The NAICS code is 811310. - Services shall satisfy the standards of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (Cleaver-Brooks) and include fabrication and installation of a custom test panel on four (4) Cleaver-Brooks boiler control systems in order to streamline monthly boiler testing efficiency. Services shall also include re-certifying all four (4) boilers by UL standards including new label/rating. This agreement shall include all parts, labor, and travel. Contractor shall be an authorized service provider for Cleaver-Brooks boiler equipment. - Equipment to be serviced includes: Cleaver-Brooks T2130-1-1 Cleaver-Brooks T2130-1-2 Cleaver-Brooks T2130-2-1 Cleaver-Brooks T2130-2-2 - B J Muirhead Co., INC. is the only known authorized provider in the Erie, NY area for servicing Cleaver-Brooks boiler equipment. - THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by September 17th, 2020 at 12:00 ET. Responses shall be submitted via email to Nathan.northrup@va.gov.
