This is not a Request for Quote. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified Contractors who are able to meet the requirements listed. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any Contractor for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, James J. Peters VAMC requires a service contract for the below Leica equipment at their NYH Manhattan location. All technicians must be certified and show capability to work on the equipment and capability must be provided. Interested Contractors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective Contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Your response needs to address how you will meet the Government's requirements. Annual periodic maintenance and on-site repair as needed should malfunction occur. Technician must be certified from Leica to handle maintenance and repair as well as inspections. These requirements may include, but are not limited to, such items as: -Special pass or identification requirements -Special security clearance requirements -Special escort requirements Field technicians will be escorted by a member of the using service. Travel is required to the equipment location. Replacement parts as required, unless otherwise stated. Emergency repair as required during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8 AM -5:00 PM. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. This is strictly for market research purposes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide services sought. The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to August 4, 2020. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time.
