NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Olympus America Inc., 3500 Corporate Pkwy, Center Valley, PA 18034 for the lease of Olympus scopes accompanied with a service maintenance agreement. The anticipated period of performance is August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2021 with a provision of four (4) option years. The following Olympus scopes shall be leased, for a minimum of 60 months, through an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified dealer: 2 each CV-190: CV-190 EVIS EXERA III VIDEO PROCESSOR 2 each CV-190: CV-190 EVIS EXERA III LIGHT SOURCE 2 each OEV-262H: OEV- 262H HIGH CD MONITOR 2 each OL-0015-07: OL 0015-07 GCX HD ROLLSTAND 2 each MAJ-1200: MAJ-1200 CLV-S40 UNIVERSAL LIGHT GUIDE 12 each CYF-VH: CYF-VH HD Flex CystoNephro Videoscope 6 each URF-V3: URF-V3 URETEROSCOPE, FLEX, VIDEO, STD The lease agreement for the Olympus scopes shall provide the following: Only new OEM scopes shall be supplied Equipment installation by an OEM certified technician Initial training and in-servicing for facility staff performed by an OEM certified technician Trade-in the current outdated Olympus Urology scopes NAICS Code is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 Employees. The classification code is W065 Lease-Medical Equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by July 27, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Richard.Amodeo@va.gov .
