The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for vendors capable of providing Security System Maintenance at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx campus located at 131 Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468. The Contractor shall be responsible for allocating all equipment, labor, personnel, materials and supervision, to meet all requirements for the maintenance of the Security Systems at the James J. Peters VAMC. The Contractor must have relevant experience in providing Security System Maintenance services. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor will furnish all Labor, Parts, Materials, Supervision, Equipment, and Supplies tools, necessary to fully maintain and repair the following: All CCTV monitors, Color Cameras (approx. 400), all camera lenses and Data from VISN building (16) to main building. All interior, exterior CCTV Cameras, lenses, through-out Medical Center that pertains to the VA Police System. All new 33 Avigilon exterior cameras installed during our exterior security improvement upgrade. Avigilon Surveillance System, Network equipment, monitors, computer and software at 1C-01. All 8-emergency blue light station with Avigilon cameras. Maintain all sensors, audio capabilities, connections, cameras, lights, communications, hardware and software. All cameras monitors located in Warehouse, 6B ward, 8C MICU, Canteen retail store and Main kitchen admin office. Panic Alarm, Motion detection Intrusion Alarm Systems input boards, though-out all of the VA Outreach Clinics at White Plains, Yonkers and Queens. All 15 cameras at the Fisher Houses 1 and 2. CCTV cameras monitors in VISN building 16, to include camera that looks at the building 16 gate. All Cameras, Monitors in Nursing Home Care Unit. Contractor shall clean camera glass surfaces throughout the James J Peters VAMC, White Plains, Yonkers and Queens CBOC with a non-abrasive cleaning agent to remove any and all dirt or debris. Panic/Intrusion Alarm System, Digital Receiver, and PC Software with support from Micro-Tech, all panic alarm Buttons, all Intrusions Alarms pertaining to the Cafeteria and Retail Store, and to all Storeroom areas throughout the Medical Center, VISN Building 16, All cameras surveillance at White Plains, Queens and Yonkers outreach clinics. A-phone intercom and access system for the Emergency Room and Operating room. 6B patient room intrusion alarm, 6B intercom, and related components. (6B currently is an inpatient mental health care ward.) Contractor shall perform a monthly panic alarm test, which consists of pressing the Intrusion alarm and Panic Buttons (approx. 400) During the panic alarm tests please make certain of the following: The Panic button plunger doesn t jam when pressed in to make contact All motion sensors are functioning properly There is an active telephone line communicating with the central alarm monitoring computer Inspect that the alarm shows up on the monitor of the computer indicating trouble. Inspect strobe light flashes outside on wall of Room 1C-01. Inspect the computer currently located in room 1C-99. Contractor shall provide a monthly report on the panic alarm and submit the report to chief, VA Police/Designee. All networking equipment for the Surveillance system. Maintain and inspect equipment wiring, programming, cleaning cabinets and equipment, checking all connections, cleaning memory/stacks, update of port maps if any changes are made, software maintenance and installation of any updated programs as required by manufacturer. All camera surveillance programs in 1C-01 for the surveillance system. Maintain and inspect equipment wiring, programming, cleaning monitors, cleaning computer workstations, power supply fans and equipment, cleaning memory/stacks, software maintenance, reconfigure camera allocations and assignments if required by users and installation of any updated programs as required by manufacturer. Maintain all monitors, computers, software, etc for surveillance set up in 1B-09 and 1A-04. If any monitors, cameras, computers, networking equipment, etc can no longer support updated programs or is not functioning and not a part of normal preventive maintenance, contractor to communicate with COR and Police and Security Chief before proceeding. Contractor shall submit quotes to project CO, COR and Police and Security Chief for approval. Provide annual training as necessary for Police and Security for any possible program updates that may change operational functions, existing operations, administrative operations to administrators, etc. Emergency Service: One (1) hour telephone response, on site response two (2) hours. All parts and labor shall be guaranteed for one (1) year from date of acceptance. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561621Â (Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths)) and the standard size is $22 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J063 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems).
