Sources Sought American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Reaccreditation Northport VA Medical Center Synopsis: Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bronx VA Medical Center, is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing the following services for VA Medical Center Northport, NY. Scope: The Northport VAMC requires reaccreditation for its sleep testing providers to ensure compliance with national regulations and industry best practices. The AASM offers the longest term (5 years) for accreditation. By maintaining accreditation, our sleep lab demonstrates a commitment to the provision of quality diagnostic services and the longitudinal management of sleep patients. Background: Since 1977, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Standards for Accreditation have been the gold standard by which the medical community and the public evaluate sleep medicine facilities. Maintaining AASM accreditation demonstrates a sleep medicine provider s commitment to high quality, patient-centered care through adherence to these standards. The Northport VAMC has held AASM accreditation since 2015. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 813910. Qualified offerors shall be experienced in addition to providers (sellers) capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
