NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to EndoSoft a Division of Utech Products, Inc. 135 Broadway Street, Schenectady, NY 12305. The period of performance for contract award will be from June 29, 2020 to June 28, 2021 with provision for four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide all supplies/parts/software, and licenses required to service/support the EndoSoft System. The EndoSoft System is located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210-2716. All work shall be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) the owner of the proprietary software. EndoSoft a Division of Utech Products, Inc. is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary all supplies, parts and software therefore only can be provided by EndoSoft a Division of Utech Products, Inc. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by April 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (ET).
