Page 3 of 5 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION DIESEL MOWERS - CANANDAIGUA VA MEDICAL CENTER This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation contains BRAND NAME or EQUAL specifications. Only brand name Kubota or Equal items will be considered as specified in paragraph VII. Only brand name OBARHOBKubota or Equal items are requested in accordance with FAR SubPart 6.302-1. No other supply by any other manufacturer will meet agency requirements. (iii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Request for Quote will be submitted to Lynn.Krakowiak@va.gov on RFQ reference number 36C24220Q0192 (Replaces RFQ 36C24220Q0157 with additional salient characteristics and specifications). (iv) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. (v) This procurement is being issued as 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SVOSB). It is the Government s intent to issue a firm fixed price, single award as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333112, Other Commercial and Services industry machinery manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1500 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for SDVOSBs. (vi) The Contractor shall provide all parts necessary to deliver a Kubota brand name or Equal as specified below. The requested products shall be delivered in new and unused/unopened condition.
