This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Overview: The Canandaigua VA Medical Center has a requirement for moving, relocation and storage services for two different locations. Basic Requirements: The Contractor shall provide competent, efficient relocation movers who are experienced and have the necessary training and education in relocation moves with adequate and appropriate moving equipment, in order to produce accurate, timely, and a complete move. The Contractor shall provide only one relocation mover to be assigned for both moves from its beginning to end. Contractor shall be insured Move #1: The Contractor shall be able to provide the following moving and relocation services Provide the necessary disassembling of 23 pieces of Gym equipment located at 1867 Mt. Hope Avenue Rochester, NY 14620, and reassembled at the Rochester VA Outpatient Clinic located at 465 Westfall Road Rochester, NY 14620. All services shall be performed Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:00pm EST occurring on one day between the dates of approximately November 15th-30th. Move #2: The Contractor shall be able to provide the following moving, storage, and relocation services Disassemble 15 large cubicles and its furnishings located at Clinton Crossing Medical Complex, 919 Westfall Road Rochester, NY 14618. Provide an estimated 4 months of storage until April 2020 for the 15 large disassembled cubicles and its furnishings in an environmentally controlled storage unit. Relocate and reassemble the 15 large cubicles at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center located at 400 Fort Hill Canandaigua, NY 14224 according to its original layout. All services shall be performed Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:00pm EST occurring between the dates of approximately November 15th -30th. The NAICS Code is 484210 with a size standard of $30 million. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HubZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.
