This notice is for the purpose of seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and Small Business contractors to provide Ambulette Transport Services for eligible Veteran beneficiaries. The Department of Veterans Affairs VHA New Jersey Healthcare System has a requirement for ambulette services. The services to be provided are for transporting eligible Veteran beneficiaries to scheduled medical appointments. The Veteran beneficiaries are located at the East Orange VAMC, 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018, and at the Lyons VAMC, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939. The performance period shall be for a base period plus four (4) option periods. Services are needed to commence April 1, 2020, and the procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 485991, and the size standard is $15 million. The solicitation package can be viewed or downloaded, at no charge, from the link http://www.FBO.gov when published. This solicitation package shall be available on or about October 28, 2019. Response to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists to set aside the procurement for Service Disabled Veteran Operated Small Business, Small Veteran Owned Business, or Small Business.
