This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24220B0068, Project Number 620-18-202 Expand Parking Lot at VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, FDR Montrose Campus, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, New York 10548-1454. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSBs may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $36.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: This Project will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish Project Number 620-18-202 Expand Parking Lot at FDR Montrose VAMC. General Construction: Work includes, but is not limited to all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform general construction, alternations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, necessary removal of existing structures and constructions and certain other items. Work includes demolition of the existing site and installation of a new parking lot on the Montrose VA Medical Center campus. The parking area is provided with a new access drive from FDR Veteran Hospital road and connects to an existing parking area. Electrical Work: Electrical work on this project includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project, including the installation of pole mounted lighting fixtures and all associated materials, etc. as required for a complete and functional installation. Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and schedule work to minimize construction duration and shall be expected to plan work typically during duty hours of the Medical Center, other than utility ties-ins or work required in the COR’s opinion to be performed during off duty hours. Contractor shall completely prepare site and perform work for the project as required by drawings and specifications. Project Completion: The contract completion time is 180 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation will be released on or about December 30, 2020. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be in hardcopies. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
