This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24220B0065, Project Number 632-15-116, RENOVATE ROADS PROJECT 4, at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. This shall be a Service-disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB s may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220. The business size standard is $39.5 million. According to VA Acquisition Regulation 836.204. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Scope of Work: Furnish all necessary professional Construction services to provide complete scope of work to RENOVATE ROADS PROJECT 4 in accordance to the project drawings and specifications for the Northport VA Medical Center. PROJECT NO. 632-15-116, RENOVATE ROADS PROJECT 4. This project will reconstruct the existing roads and parking areas servicing Building No. 200 and the Emergency Department/Ambulance Bay area at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform work for the reconstruction of existing roads, parking areas and entryways as required by the drawings and specifications. Work includes demolition, general construction, sitework, equipment, plumbing, electrical, communications and utilities work; phased alterations to roadways, parking areas, new curbs and sidewalks and other areas; extension of existing porte cochère; construction of new retaining walls, walkways, grading, drainage, landscaping, irrigation, parking booth, vehicular barriers, signage and exterior improvements. Electrical work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project including phased removals of existing equipment, devices and site lighting; phased installation of exterior lighting, panelboards, circuit breakers, conductors and new equipment and security system; temporary electrical services and possible scheduled shutdown of electrical service for portions of the hospital. Plumbing and Site Utility work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform phased water utilities and storm drainage/sewer work; all necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items as indicated on the contract documents. The contract completion time is 775 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. A bid bond will be required, and performance and payment bonds will be required upon award of contract. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation will be released on or about October 10, 2020. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
