This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about October 7, 2020 for Upgrade Ventilation, Building 76 at the Bath VA Medical Center. Project No. 528A6-17-627. The general scope of this project is to install a conditioned, central air distribution system on the 4th floor of the hospital (Building 76) and a portion of the 5th floor. Other improvements included in this project are the construction of a chase way for future ductwork to the third and second floors and cross connection of certain piping to eliminate a 60-ton chiller. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses’. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $16.5 M. The cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
